Caffiene is a stimulant which makes everything in your body run faster. Pretend that your poop is in a toothpaste tube, what caffeine does is it squeezes the tube of toothpaste.
It increases blood flow, which increases the pressure. The compounds in coffee can be hard to digest so it produces gas that increases pressure. Your body wants to get rid of the pressure by pooping. Exercising does the same thing.
